HOW DO THEY WORK?

The ageing process begins in our late twenties and is characterised by a diminishing supply of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid. This means that our skin loses its elasticity and volume and becomes looser, thinner and starts to sag.

Dermal fillers are an injectable hyaluronic acid gel which work by boosting the skin’s supply of hyaluronic acid. This in turn adds volume to the skin and softens and diminishes the appearance of lines and wrinkles. This achieves a much softer look to the skin and is a fantastic way of reducing the appearance of ageing in a natural way.

WHAT AREAS CAN BE TREATED?

1. Cheeks to provide volume and lift

2. The lines between the nose and mouth (nasolabial folds)

3. Lips to provide volume and definition

4. The marionette lines from the corners of the mouth to the chin

5. The jawline for definition and lift and reduction of 'jowls'

6. The under eye or 'tear troughs'

7. Chin to smooth wrinkles and balance profile

HOW LONG DO THEY TAKE TO WORK?

Whilst results are immediate, it can take up to 4 weeks for fillers to fully integrate into the tissues.

HOW LONG DO THEY LAST?

On average between 6-18 months depending on the product and area treated but this can vary between individuals.
