HOW DO THEY WORK?
As we age, cells in our skin called fibroblasts (which are responsible for making collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid) diminish. Skin boosters are an injectable hyaluronic acid which attract 200 times their weight in water. This not only nourishes the skin by providing improved firmness, elasticity and plumpness but the skin boosters also stimulate the fibroblasts into making more collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid. This treatment is particularly effective at targeting fine lines and wrinkles as well as uneven skin from scarring.

HOW LONG DO THEY TAKE TO WORK?
Whilst results are immediate, it can take up to 4 weeks for the skin boosters to fully integrate into the skin. Patients may benefit from consecutive treatments 2-4 weeks apart.

On average 6 months depending on the product and area treated but this can vary between individuals.
CONTRAINDICATIONS TO TREATMENT

3. If you are taking certain medications
4. If you have certain neuromuscular conditions such as myasthenia gravis
5. If you are pregnant or breast-feeding
6. If you have a bleeding disorder
