HOW DO SKIN BOOSTERS WORK?

As we age, our skin produces less collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid due to a natural decline in fibroblast activity. Skin boosters are ultra-lightweight injectable hyaluronic acid gels that attract up to 200 times their weight in water, delivering intense hydration to the deeper layers of the skin.

In addition to hydrating the skin, skin boosters stimulate fibroblasts to increase production of collagen and elastin over time. The result is skin that feels firmer, smoother, and more radiant, with visible improvement in fine lines, texture, and mild scarring.

WHAT AREAS CAN BE TREATED?

Skin boosters can be used to refresh and improve skin quality in the following areas:

1. Face - restore glow and smooth complexion

2. Neck – improve crepiness and fine lines

3. Décolletage – soften sun damage and signs of ageing

4. Hands – hydrate and smooth ageing skin

HOW LONG DO SKIN BOOSTERS TAKE TO WORK?

While you may notice an immediate improvement in hydration and skin texture, it can take up to 4 weeks for the skin boosters to fully integrate and deliver their full effect. Many clients benefit most from a course of treatments, spaced 2 to 4 weeks apart, to build optimal and longer-lasting results.

HOW LONG DO SKIN BOOSTERS  LAST?

Results typically last around 6 months, depending on the product used, the area treated, and individual factors such as skin condition, lifestyle, and metabolism. Maintenance treatments are often recommended every few months to keep the skin hydrated, firm, and glowing over time.

ARE THERE ANY CONTRAINDICATIONS TO SKIN BOOSTERS?
